FBI x UN Fall Festival

Editors: phine24 & Ahmed089

Standing as the first-ever big External Event between the FBI NW3C and UN, a packed event over 3 days was a long weekend full of fun known as the Fall Festival. As newly recognized partners, FBI NW3C, and UN worked together to produce an enjoyable weekend for the public. The Fall Festival included a total of 13 different games to attend over 27 hours collectively, accompanied by radio shows and two automated games. There were prizes to be won and giveaways to enter for some extra competition, ending with a large turnout, running mostly smoothly.

Automated Events:

Attending members for each automated event had a chance to win up to 200 credits! The incorporated automated events were danger zone and trolley dash, open for the entire weekend for whoever was up for the challenge. By the end of the weekend, the top 3 players recorded on either of the automated events would win 50 credits, 100 credits, or 200 credits respectively.

Live Events:

Each day, a range of 9 different live games would be hosted in 3 sessions, lasting 3 hours each. Session 1 for each day lasted from 5am BST – 8am BST, session 2 for each day lasted from 1PM BST – 4PM BST, and session 3 lasted from 10PM BST – 12AM BST. Each session times were chosen to accommodate for most time zones so that the majority of people can participate for at least one game. Each individual game was hosted by either a member from FBI NW3C’s Events team or UN’s Events team and lasted an hour each.

1. Out of the 13 live games during the Festival, which did you like most?

CJ: Danger pod because of the randomness it gives

Fark: I think probably fridge game for me, you can’t go wrong!

Una: I liked Hood Falling Furni the most cos people looked stupid and funny falling for shit the host was doing. There’s also Fridge Game and Stab, cos I teamed up with Dyansed and we won those. And I have a lot more to say about the games as they’re all great!! Shoutout to pawiez for being an amazing host.

2. What do you think about the automated events?

CJ: I like it, i played with the one Jamie did. couldn’t play the others since i was busy with another thing

Fark: I liked them, I had a go on both but didn’t win any!

Una: It’s the first time I’ve seen automated games, and I was confused! But it was actually fun, and it’s a great way to get people to participate in the 3-day event without attending the actual games hosted.

3. Overall, what are your thoughts on the FBI x UN Fall Festival?

CJ: It was great, well thought out event. The problem was people who should host didn’t host and did a no show, but nevertheless it didn’t stop us to make the Un x FBI event great

Fark: I think it went really well, there was a decent turnout to all the events, and even the radio station was shared, so there was plenty of excitement

Una: I loved it!! The hosts were amazing, the rooms were beautiful and cozy, and the games were fun. A lot of non-agency people also joined which means it’s a high-activity event that caught their attention. I also loved how they had multiple people hosting games all throughout a day to accommodate more timezones.

4. On a scale of 1-10, what would you rate the Fall Festival and why?

CJ:10 like number 3 its good nothing failed in the process and everything worked out great 😀

Fark: I think an 8/9, I think it got both our communities together, and could only be improved if there was more events, with less gaps between them

Una: Solid 10! The 27 games hosted during the 3 days always had a lot of people in it, and everything was just great. Although there were a few troubles, the quality of hosting, and prizes offered made for it.

Based on the interviewee’s responses and our personal experience at the Fall Festival, it’s safe to say that the Fall Festival was a success! It was a great weekend packed full of events, music, and chances to win prizes. Throughout each event, the room population was always high and proved to be a popular event which even attracted non-agency players. It was great to see so many people enjoying themselves and bonding at the FBI NW3C x UN Fall Festival, and I hope to see more events like it in the future!
