May 31, 2020 marks the date where after careful vetting of both agencies’ mutual interests, the Secret Service and Interpol formed a treaty. The owner of Interpol, lil!devil!, is looking to strengthen their standing in the agency floor and the best way to start is by getting closer to the agency community and forming relations. On the other hand, the Secret Service is constantly looking for potential agencies that share the same beliefs and ideals to associate ourselves with.
Secret Service was Interpol’s first partnership alongside the Federal Bureau of Investigation, both owned by Terroriquez. The first collaboration between the Secret Service and Interpol was made aiming to strengthen the bond whilst showing other agencies that a treaty was made by the two agencies. Everyone contributed to the event to make sure that it was a success and during the day of the event, both agencies surely did not disappoint.
SS × Interpol Themed Event was held on the 8th of August. Not only did the event go smoothly but it also helped people from both agencies to interact and to get to know each other more as well as having fun while playing for some prizes. Participants not only consisted of SS and Interpol’s members, but it went as far as the allies from both agencies coming together to show support to the event.
With that in mind, we decided that it would be important to interview members from both agencies who had participated in the event to gather their thoughts on this event that helped consolidate our treaty with Interpol. The main idea behind the interviews is to understand how people felt about the event, and understand the point of view of members from both agencies. The interviews we’ve gathered are from AxeJay and Iron_man123,from Interpol and Ahmed9018 from SS.

Which Game/Theme was your favorite?
All the themes were really well done by room design, and I loved making appearances on my avatar for each. I expected, going into the day, that Winter would’ve been my favorite since that’s my favorite season and aesthetic but I’d probably say balloon games ended up being the most fun. It was packed with so many people and a really energized social atmosphere.
What did you think of the Event as a whole?
I believe it was a wonderful idea, bringing the two agencies together to host and play games together, and it was executed well by the hosts on the day of. As for the timeframe, I think it was a bit double-edged: it covered a broad span which should maximize how many people can attend but not a lot of people could make it to all four. It seemed like there was a lot of fluctuation in who showed up which could’ve been for many reasons that I won’t speculate. Overall I think it was an awesome time and I hope more collabs like it happen in the future
Do you think the Event helped with improving the relationship between SS and Interpol?
I think it did, absolutely. As someone new to agencies in general and have not interacted much with those outside of INT, I met a lot of cool people from SS and loved branching out socially. I hope SS enjoyed working and playing with INT as well.
What would you rate the Event out of 10?
I’d have to say 10, in all honesty. Of course, it was my first big event with the agency but I really did have fun the whole way through. Still, I’m sure things could be even better so I’m excited to see what’s next!

Which Game/Theme was your favourite?
Even tho I was the one who hosted the fridge race games my favourite out of all of them would be the balloon game because it was really fun and a lot of people were there which made it a lot more better
What did you think of the Event as a whole?
It was great the whole idea of INT and SS coming together to play games is such an awesome idea and it was really fun to experience.
Do you think the Event helped with improving the relationship between SS and Interpol?
I have met a few new people and have made some new friends from SS so I would say it has.

Which Game/Theme was your favourite?
Balloon.
What did you think of the Event as a whole?
It was fun, as many people really enjoyed it and many people kept inviting their friends to participate in the event.
Do you think the Event helped with improving the relationship between SS and Interpol?
Absolutely, as both of them kept joking and having fun together as if they were not in two different agencies, and the bonds were instantly linked between them and improved.

1. What are your thoughts about INT before the treaty?
Unfortunately I did not know Interpol existed until my ex mentee joined but they are cool, and about everyday they host games a lot. They seem like a bunch of good people just doing their job and I appreciate them for being friendly to us
2. What do you look forward to the most when the treaty was made?
I look forward to a good friendship, honesty and loyalty. I am willing to do all those as long as they follow the treaty that SS and INT has agreed on. They are great and they host brilliant games and we all have fun and talk to them.
3. Thoughts when you paid a visit to INT’s base?
Interpol is a nice attractive base with so much potential. When I visited them, the staff there were kind and generous to me. They were discussing vaccines and covid and they all seemed so happy and well thought out people.
4. Your hope regarding the future of the treaty
We keep being friends with INT, As a member of EA, our main job is to keep good relations with our allies. I want to be friends with INT not because of their in-base games or their agency but the fact that they hold an important role called ‘Ally’. I care that we help interpol and hope for the best for them. I honestly hate to see an ally go so let’s give them a reason to stay!

1. What are your thoughts about SS before the treaty?
I actually hadn’t heard much about SS before our treaty
2. What do you look forward to the most when the treaty was made?
I was really excited to have joint events and meet new people! It was our second alliance/ treaty so having more people to play games w was great!!
3. Thoughts when you paid a visit to our base
I honestly love your base!! I’m a little shy so I had a little trouble meeting people but I loved the atmosphere you guys had!!
4. Your hope regarding the future of the treaty
I hope to grow our agencies’ relationship even further!! I think to do this by encouraging both our agencies’ members (not just EA members) to actively go to each other’s bases and meet others!!

1. What are your thoughts about INT before the treaty?
I don’t know much about INT but I know they maintained good pop and they do often events from we had a treaty with them so I guess they’re a stable agency and they are always nice when visiting our base

More events!

It’s great! Nice and spacious and they are all friendly members.
4. Your hope regarding the future of the treaty
A great long and successful treaty
Even though the treaty between the agencies was consolidated not too long ago, as it has been only a few months, the relationship we hold with Interpol has been very stable and enjoyable, and that is very important to us, as we can be sure that it can be a relationship that last for long and brings us many benefits.
As we have seen on both the interviews about the Event and the interviews about the Treaty, we can see that the treaty with Interpol has been very beneficial to the Secret Service, as Interpol is a very welcoming and friendly agency that is always in contact and very close to us. Members of both agencies are very often holding games and events and inviting each other, which helps create a better bond between us.
Interpol is also a great place to visit when we have some time in our hands, they have a very friendly staff, who is always willing to help, and they also enjoy having SS members over just as much as we enjoy having our allies visit our base to meet us.
