After these were presented to the winners, the Queen gave a speech addressed to all members, Relation Partners, and Royal Guests:
“2020 has been very eventful for the Kingdom of Habbo and outside of it too. We have had a lot of dramatic and not so dramatic happenings occur all around us. A lot of us have struggled with the pandemic and mental health, being in lockdown mode and wear of where this pandemic will take us has made a few of us crazy. The uncertainty moving forward with the Habbo beta has left us wondering and confused. In my opinion, 2020 has been a year of fear online and offline.
We can talk about how fearful we are, how scared we are, adn how vulnerable we are. But we’ve been talking about scary things the whole year, so let’s just stop for one moment. Let’s reflect on the positive moments of 2020. What happened this year that made us grow? What experiences made us grow together and as individuals? What made us happy? It’s time we stop focusing on what 2020 could have been and what we missed out on.
The community we built together at the Kingdom of Habbo makes me grow as a leader and an individual. The experiences we share together are many to be remembered because of all the positive and happiness associated with them.
I want to thank all of our members, low or high, iL or not, for truly being the best people to be around at my online home. Some of you have told me how much you love KoH. how KoH has positively impacted you, and how KoH is your family. Everytime I hear these little success stories, it makes my heart warm and truly makes it all worth it.
Spending 2020 with KoH made the year a good year, and I hope you experienced that too.”
After her speech, KoH Queen Phusion presented the special award. The Queen’s Merit is rewarded to any individual that has greatly impacted the Kingdom of Habbo through loyalty, service, or honour.
